We’ve been celebrating our expanded presence on Facebook with our first on-line contest that offered two winners each the prize of an award-winning SAVA chair. Launched in tandem with our new ad campaign, we shared clues to the identity of the beautiful location where the photo shoot actually was staged. Anyone who correctly guessed this location was entered to win their own SAVA chair. The two fortunate winners were Trish Murray of RSP Architects in Minneapolis and Christa Mahar from Boston-based, Safdi Architects.
“We wanted to reach a new audience with our social media program,” remarked Stylex president John Golden. “This is a playful way to interact with SAVA fans out there, all while showing off our beautiful new ad campaign. We were impressed with the number of correct answers to the SAVA puzzle.”
Contest clues included:
1. The ads where shot in a location on the West Coast.
2. The architect behind the space is also a poet and a professor.
3. This location was completed and unveiled in 2005.
4. The well-respected architect behind this location is a graduate of the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.
5. This location is a redevelopment of a space originally designed by architect Willis Polk.
The answer was obvious to a lot of Daniel Libeskind’s admirers. The campaign was shot in San Francisco’s Contemporary Jewish Museum. The windows proved to be the give-away for many!
